Target Reaches 500 Solar Powered Stores

Successfully achieving the goal of installing solar panels to 500 stores by 2020, Target is making progress towards its ambitious climate goals. The steps to reduce its carbon footprint will continue as Target is working towards the goal of having 100% of electricity from renewable sources by 2030 - a commitment made last summer.

Each rooftop solar project is reported to generate enough energy to offset between 15% and 40% of a property's energy needs.
