Target Makes Sustainability Easy and Affordable during Earth Month and Beyond

A Bullseye View | April 12, 2021
Target's committed to reducing its footprint in service of a better future for guests, team members and communities. From April 18-24, in honor of Earth Week, Target Circle members receive 15% off select products, including items made with sustainably sourced materials. Plus, Target Circle members will have the option to direct Target’s giving to the Arbor Day Foundation.
Target’s adding even more brands featuring recyclable or compostable products made with sustainably sourced materials. Starting out with a curated collection of home cleaning essentials, Grove Collaborative features recyclable glass and aluminum items designed to make sustainable living easy. Also, a new line of storage essentials from Matter, which features compostable products using natural, renewable and sustainable materials.
All year round, Target looks deeper into owned-brand products, making a culture of recycling and powerful energy goals. Owned-brand, Spritz - a line of party supplies, now includes 3 new part collections with more sustainable materials and designs. From helping guests recycle used car seats to decreasing waste in operations, Target takes recycling as a major part to divert waste from the landfill. Target also has their commitment to source 100% of Target's electricity from renewable sources by 2030, in efforts to make a sizable impact.
