Target Backrooms Becoming Unsafe

Since cutting overnight and backroom shifts across the US, Target has been noted as having unsafe and overcrowded backrooms as daytime workers try to pick up the slack.
Target cut overnight and backroom shifts in some of its stores across the US over the past several months, and in some stores, those positions were eliminated completely, while in others they were drastically scaled back.
Without people working those overnight and backroom shifts, the back rooms in many Target stores have become overcrowded and, in some cases, unsafe, some workers said. As a result, the daytime workers, whose responsibilities also include helping customers, have been expected to pick up the slack.
