Retail Dive has announced Walmart as its Retailer of the Year. With continuous investment into its stores, employees, technology and digital platform, Walmart has taken major strides in standing out from the crowd. The retailer has more than 11,300 stores (compared to Target's 1,844 stores) and has reported $514.4 billion in revenue last year (more than twice Amazon's revenue). With strong performance and opportunities on the horizon, Walmart continues to push forward as the worlds largest retailer.
