The Moscoe Group is a company built on the foundation of family, community and connection. On the surface, we strive to connect brands and products to the marketplace that make lives better, but at our core, we are a company who believes in contributing to meaningful change for both our communities and the world we live in. Today, more than ever, that stands true.
The senseless killing of George Floyd and the riots across the country should be a call for all of us to take a stand publicly and express what we believe.
Black Lives Matter
People have a right to protest peacefully
Any form of racism, oppression and lack of accepting people for who they are is wrong
We will try to do our part in helping our community come together for the betterment of people. To help these efforts, The Moscoe Group is donating three organizations including: Lake Street Council which has raised funds to rebuild the small businesses that were decimated by the recent violence that disrupted the message of the demonstrations; the NAACP, whose mission is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons; and also to Restore the North focusing on rebuilding the businesses on West Broadway that were looted and destroyed during the protests.
The change we demand in our communities will only be achieved by coming together and continuing to push forward for the many days ahead. With that said, we encourage you to take the time to find reputable resources and join us in doing what you can to help our communities on this journey to justice and equality.
